Memento Mori Blanket

Memento Mori and its counterpart, Memento Vivere, are a popular Catholic devotion and meditation. Memento mori, a Latin phrase, translates to, "remember your death" or "remember that you will die". Conversely, memento vivere, another Latin phrase, translates to, "remember that you must live". Both reminders are important!

We are called to live a holy life, one focused on the Lord and serving those around us. But, at the same time, we must also remember that this life is finite - it will not last forever. Remembering that we will die, rather than being morbid, is intended to help us make the most of our time on Earth.
